1.) Bonnie presented the new waiver showing the changes that had been
made to keep in compliance with Insurance requirements.
2.) There was discussion regarding the use of the Crossbow
on Crystal Groves fields. Based on the allowance for pull and poundage, an Allthing had been taken on the CG field and
Crossbows in CG have been unanimously outlawed The seriousness of the dangers involved prompted the topic and
Chris will create a letter to send to the BL Rules Committee in
regards to CG’s stance and explanation for it.
3.) FYI: All members present were advised of Goldenvale’s
changes regarding absolving Corpora tests for qualification
to Kingdom level Monarchy and how monarchy will now
be voted upon by the populace of Goldenvale. Also
mentioned, the Monarch Pro-Tem King of Goldenvale is Sir
Brandobis, former Champion of Goldenvale.
4.) It is expected that we should know of the final approval
of the 7.0 rulebook by February 1, 2005. If no news is heard by February 14, 2005, Bonnie will be printing the 7.0 version.
5.) Angela provided a copy of the Preliminary Budget for
FOF 2005 to all present members because of the
Insurance goals that are built into it.
A vote was called for approval of the Feast of Fools
indoor feast cost of $20.00 and the outdoor feast cost of
$18.00 to incorporate the Insurance cost into the admission per Old Business regarding options for raising the monies, as
opposed to making dues mandatory. --

OLD BUSINESS
1.) Insurance - At this time, Maerie is still working on a couple more estimates and determining deductibles. Either April 1, 2005 or after Feast of Fools, the insurance plan should be instituted. Estimated cost of insurance, $1,500.00 can be paid in monthly installments. The payments can be made monthly. There are Two options, "Crystal Groves Only" or "National Level" with Crystal Groves as the liaison between all groups and the Insurance Company. Definition of the two options: CG ONLY – this covers any of the Crystal Groves dues paid members and those that they fight, NATIONAL LEVEL – must have at least 430 members. If/When Crystal Groves becomes a kingdom, all groups that fall within her realm will also be covered under the policy if Crystal Groves Only. If the BOD opts for Crystal Groves Only, this does not exclude adding other groups at a later time. A vote was called for adopting the "CG ONLY" version of the insurance at this time -- 7 aye, 1 abstain, 1 absent
